Watch Fans Assemble! A Photo Gallery of the 2022 Edition of WatchTime New York

Secondly, there was the venue. WatchTime returned to the hallowed Gotham Hall in Midtown. This space has always allowed visitors to peruse the wares without feeling rushed. And there’s plenty of elbow room for those who want catch up with fellow enthusiasts without getting jostled.
 

Thirdly, there were the fantastic collectors. Events like WatchTime are important for bonding and strengthening the community. That’s why Gotham Hall is such a great space. The flow of the venue allowed collectors to catch up, connect, and compare timepieces. Moreover, WatchTime’s panels were aimed more at consumers and collectors (rather than buyers and press, like the panels at Watches & Wonders)
 

As a result, the experience was very hands-on. We got to try on heaps of watches at almost every conceivable price point! But even if you couldn’t afford to get a new watch during the fair, there was still plenty of swag on offer (I have enough stickers to cover a Trapper Keeper).
 

Finally, we spent a lot of time catching up with colleagues and making new friends. And even though part of WatchTime’s mission is to bring European watchmakers to the Americas, visitors from all over the world were there (Denmark in the house!). Plus, watch-world celebrities, like social media favorites Ben from Wrist Check Podcast and Lee from Brodinkee, hobnobbed with newbies. It was fun!
